Materials

In all of my more recent artwork I use Earth Paints, which are non-toxic powdered  minerals that also promote eco-friendly, organic elements to mix them. Using paints and subjects from Nature connects me to Earth.  I create works that reflect my love of Nature and the communities that evolve from this awareness.  It is a wonderful feeling to be able to mix the mineral components together and move them across a canvas, paper, or wood, and at times a large stone, to engage a presence of life straight from the land.
