Conscious effort and care is taken with each piece of artwork to bring to the collector art that is non-toxic and eco-friendly. All products used are from Natural Earth Paints or home-created from natural and organic properties to include: handmade and recycled papers, own recipe of softened cold beeswax, collected and finely prepared ochres, natural clays and minerals, mixing a plant-based glue and earth gesso, onto wood or organic cotton canvas surfaces. Some paintings contain gold leaf application using an ancient Italian method and/or 3-d reliefs. * No animal or petroleum products are used.
I create works that reflect Nature and the communities evolving from this awareness, using organic, non-toxic materials with mineral components called natural Earth Paints, on paper, wood, and large stone. My work engages a presence of life straight from the land.
